CM Queue Privacy Notice

This privacy notice discloses the privacy practices for CASEware Technology LLC for the Customer Management Queue System. This privacy notice applies solely to information collected by the CASEware Technology Customer Management Queue System. This system is a Sales Team member tool to assist with the management of customers coming into a retail store. As such, it is used to keep track of when a team member is up to support a Customer and to be able to provide follow up information to the customer’s that have been assisted by a Team Member. The system collects the following information:

  • Team Member Name and email address
  • Customer Name, email address and phone number

This information is stored in a secure database and is only available within the system. It is used by the Sales Team to contact a customer in the future if requested by the customer. This information is not provided or sold to third parties for marketing or sales in any way.

The system also uses the camera on mobile devices to scan bar codes on product labels. It does not use the camera within the system to record or store pictures in any form.

Security

We take precautions to protect information defined to CASEware Technology. When information is submitted via CASEware Technology, the information is protected both online and offline.

We do not collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), nevertheless, all information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the Web page.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
